Amazing Scenes

I went on a big six-mile walk today through Mid-Wilshire (anyone calling it MiWi yet?) and up into the La Brea Tar Pits. Have I mentioned what a disappointment the tar pits are? You’re thinking it is going to be all Flintstones-y and it just looks like a pool of dirty water at Marina del Rey.

No worries, lots of other cool discoveries today including a good all-hours “need breakfast NOW” candidate called Lucy’s Drive Thur, a branch of Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, Sky’s Tacos, and Bloom Cafe which reminded me of Fresh in Toronto (I miss you Ninja Bowl!). Yes, I was hungry, why do you ask?
