Just piping up for my German fam - those walking sticks sound like the ones that are for nordic walking…my aunt teaches that stuff (you gotta learn to walk that way, I guess - I don’t ask questions because she might poke me with her stick), so that might have been what they were doing? Nordic walking through the redwoods?
I’m pretty sure they were just walking normally but maybe they were just talking a Nordic Break. God knows those fancy-ass poles HAD to be for something more than what I saw.
Aw, those trees are going steady.
