Were any of those old-timey game machines actually playable?
They all were!
That was the best thing about that place: admission was free, but all the machines worked, and each was a quarter or less. Wait, actually the Indy pinball game was 50 cents, but it was worth it.
Someone so needs to make a parody of “The King of Kong” documentary with people who are obsessed with getting the high score on one of those games. Preferably featuring someone with a handlebar moustache.
