Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Snacks

In the second episode of the Overwhelming Positivity podcast we discuss the world of Indiana Jones snacks, Tara’s insane DVR habits, my Seasonal Dog Fever Disorder (SDFD) and the pros and cons of moving from New York to San Francisco.

Look for another podcast on Thursday night after we go see the new Indy film.

Is this a real podcast in that it has an rss/xml/whatever feed? I can’t seem to find one on the podcast page. I know you say you are trying to get listed on iTunes, but there’s lots of different software out there with which to subscribe to podcasts that needs the feed address. Anyway, your first one was really funny (I discovered it when a friend emailed me a link because you talked about the “Yo Mama” show which we loved).

Yeah, the feed links for the iTunes and non-iTunes feeds are in the top right corner plus the podcast feed should show if your browser supports sniffing out the RSS feeds and displays a little RSS box. Also the feed links are at the bottom of each episode post.

ETA: These RSS feed links are new as of last night so you’re not going insane if you didn’t notice them before. I am learndeding.

Hi Glark,

Finally figured out how to re-login so.. Yeay Me!

With regards to Snickers AdventureTM, I’m an intellectual property lawyer and I can explain this to you.

Snickers Adventure is a pending trademark application. Information about it can be found here:

http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=gtnku6.2.1

That’s why it has the little TM designation and not an R in a circle (which would mean it had registered. Also, they haven’t trademarked “Adventure” the word adventure has to be used in conjunction with Snickers for the trademark to be applicable.

Veryt bummed you guys are moving from New York, I kind of got a vicarious thrill that you guys lived in my ‘hood, but good luck in San Fran. It’s a nice city too.

Ugh, sorry — the spam plug-in was holding your comment ALP and I just noticed.

Thanks for the law lesson adventure TM.

Also we are now NOT moving to SF and get to stay in NYC for at least a good little bit (more soon I’m sure).
